Over the weekend I discovered the brilliance of San Francisco based footwear designer Martha Davis. She launched her footwear career in 2009 and has gotten much press since then around the Bay Area. Although she graduated from a design school in Rhode Island, she moved to San Francisco in 2000 to jump start her career. Then in 2007 she went to Italy to learn how to make shoes (GENIUS) and even has a showroom in Milano, Italy. Her shoes (priced from $250-$750) are handmade from the same Italian factory where Chanel shoes are made (O.M.G.) Her footwear is sold in various countries around the world. Her quaint little studio is just adorable and I couldn't be more in love with her shoes, being the shoe-aholic I am.
