Bags Galore

First off, thank you Cat (aka Catherine Ava) for making my lovely banner! You're amazing.

Secondly, I wish I didn't have such a busy schedule this weekend because in San Francisco, Chanel is hosting an event called "Secrets of the CHANEL handbag" and I WANT TO GO. They're going to exhibit how they make legendary Chanel handbags. I'm guessing anyone who's anyone is attending. I would love to see how such perfection is made, wouldn't you?

Moving on to my next subject: the Prada Cervo Satchel. It just rolls of the tongue. Seriously, this piece of beauty is a planet in itself. I discovered this beauty while browsing through my endless bookmarks of designer labels and happened to come across this at Saks website. It's so simple and with my wardrobe, this versatile bag could literally match any outfit I'd wear. The neutral color is so easy on the eyes and I love the size of it. Not too big, not too small.  Sadly, if I were to buy this I'd have to say goodbye to three months worth of school tuition 'cause this bad boy costs $1,695 at Saks.

Next we have Marc by Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs is just a genius when it comes to bags. The newest collection, 'Pedal to the Metal', has some of the most chic bags I've ever laid eyes on. For example the 'PTTM Flap Pouchette' in the color cement. I adore the golden dove on the actual flap. It's strap makes it easy for a cross-body (which is my favorite type of bag) and it's just so small and quaint. I'd probably use this on a casual/regular day basis since I never really need to carry that much in my bag anyway. Luckily, this sucker's only $228. Still pricey but doable!

Lastly, I don't know if any of you have heard of shopnastygal.com (if you haven't, definitely check it out), but basically they have 'new' and 'vintage' categories of clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. I found this bag - 'Palest Pink Leather Bag'. Since I don't have a pink bag, I was drawn to this. It's a very wearable pink color and I think I'd be able to wear it with various types of outfits. I like the big and bulky size to add something different to my usual boring and monotonous small handbags. This bag goes for $298 online.
