In honor of #ThrowbackThursday, I decided to post some pictures of our previous family trip to New York City during the summer of 2014.

I have dreamed of going to NYC since birth. I've always been fascinated by the lights, the atmosphere, the fast-paced environment, and of course, the fashion. For my twenty-first birthday, I asked for a trip to NY as a gift from my parents but I never thought it would actually come true. Luckily for me, my parents know how to make me the happiest daughter on the face of the planet.

So, was New York all I ever dreamed it would be?

Ummmm, YES.

I know a lot of West Coast peeps that visit NY end up hating it because they think it's too congested, the people are rude, and it smells.

I love the crowd. I didn't have any negative encounters with people there, and to be honest, didn't smell at thing. Maybe growing up near a large city like San Francisco made me accustomed to the big city life, which is why I absolutely LOVED New York City.

I promised to myself and everyone that I'm going to live there one day. My top two choices are between Manhattan (for obvious reasons) and Greenwich Village (I love the energy and the neighborhoods!).

Since I'm studying business, and I want a career in the fashion corporate world, obviously, NYC would be the ideal location for me to head over to.

The breathtaking view from our hotel room.

Hi everyone!

So, I've been kind of MIA because I got busy towards the end of winter break. It sucks that my last winter break has come to an end but I'm ready to start the semester and graduate in May!
Luckily, I was able to squeeze in the first photo shoot of the year with my sister. She owns two online boutique's, HerStorey, and MyClutterFix. With the amazing handbags she's selling and the stunning Stella & Dot Jewelry, we put together a few looks!

This first one is the epitome of class. By taking a pair of jeans and adding a crisp white blouse with a sharp blazer, it transforms the outfit from casual to sophisticated. Top it off with some boots and a classic Chanel handbag, and it's the perfect 'going out' outfit! We kept it simple with the makeup but added a bit of pop with the red lips.

I'm also a bit obsessed with the simple yet elegant necklace and charming arm candy. It complimented the outfit perfectly!

How has everyone's year been so far?

Happy New Year! I know it's been awhile since I blogged, but I've been busy celebrating the holidays with my family, I'm sure you all understand. I'm excited for this new year and all the things to come. I will definitely try to blog more and keep up with this. Thanks for everyone who has been supporting me and this blog of mine :)

This is EASILY my absolute favorite look from the photo shoot. It puts everything together - sophistication, class, glam, and edge.
Black is my favorite color to style because of it's versatility - that shows in this particular outfit. Taking a simple long sleeved top and coated black pants, all we had to do was add some texture with the fur and beautiful accessories, and it transformed a simple outfit into a glamtastic one. Throw in some drool-worthy Louis Vuitton with a pair of staple Mary-Janes, and you've got this luxurious feel to what would have been a modest look.
And who can forget the essential red lipstick?
